Saul Ewing's Environmental Department provides counsel and representation for clients facing a wide range of issues related to environmental regulations. Working in close partnership with clients, including individuals, businesses, and communities, our attorneys put their knowledge of science, engineering and the law to work to help clients achieve their goals quickly and cost-effectively.

Experience That Facilitates Environmental Cases

Saul Ewing's Environmental Department is comprised of twelve attorneys who provide clients with the capabilities required to address all types of environmental matters. In addition to in-depth knowledge about environmental regulations, our attorneys bring additional skill sets to each case. For example, one of our attorneys holds a master's degree in geology; another earned an engineering degree from Massachusetts Institute of Technology.

Saul Ewing's Environmental attorneys have strong contacts in the environmental law community. One of our attorneys is a former Pennsylvania Assistant Attorney General, and several have served on the staffs of various environmental agencies. We've been involved in litigation at every level, including representation before the U. S. Supreme Court.

This breadth and depth puts Saul Ewing's Environmental Department in a unique position to help clients navigate the wide range of environmental issues, from helping ensure compliance with permit requirements to evaluating proposed technology for site remediation; from facilitating negotiations with local, state and federal agencies to preparing reports and examining experts in cases that go to litigation.
