He regularly tries criminal cases throughout New York City and has won numerous acquittals and dismissals. Scott is a tireless advocate having handled some high profile criminal cases and he has an extensive amount of litigation experience, including: winning a verdict on a major commercial L&T trial; arguing a homicide appeal before the appellate division; cross examining state expert in felony DWI case (minutes now used in training class for prosecutors); settling numerous civil rights cases in federal court for substantial sums of money; litigating adversary proceedings in bankruptcy court (including boxer Mike Tyson's case); and obtaining favorable results in numerous other civil and criminal cases in federal and state courts.
