Sharon is the author of a number of articles concerning Bermuda as a jurisdiction for investment funds, cross border transactions and corporate social responsibility.
Sharon is a co-founder of ISIS Law, the CEO of ISIS Limited and one of the co-founders of the ISIS Group. She practices in all areas of corporate law with particular expertise in investment funds, structured finance, joint venture structures and mergers and acquisitions.
She spent eight years with Linklaters (in London & Hong Kong) where she worked primarily in the fields of commercial property, banking and capital markets' transactions and then with Denys Reitz in South Africa, advising on corporate cross-border transactions. Before joining ISIS, Sharon was head of banking at one of the leading Bermuda law firms and was the principal external counsel for one of Bermuda's banks, Bermuda Commercial Bank.
Sharon is the Chair of the Investment Funds Committee of Business Bermuda, which represents all aspects of the investment fund industry in Bermuda and a member of the BSX Listing Committee.
Sharon is also a director of the publicly listed funds, The China 'A' Fund Limited and Macquarie Equinox Limited and a director of a number of private companies.
Sharon has been admitted to practice law in Bermuda, the UK and Hong Kong.
