Sharon Kovacs Gruer, P.C., focuses her practice in the areas of estate planning, elder law, special needs trusts and asset protection. Ms. Gruer holds a masters of law in taxation (LL.M.) from New York University, is certified as an elder law attorney by the American Bar Association's accredited National Elder Law Foundation*, is Chairperson of the Elder Law Practice Committee and a member of the Board of Directors of the Elder Law Section of the New York State Bar Association and is Vice-Chairperson of the Trust Special Interest Group of the National Academy of Elder Law Attorneys. Ms. Gruer is the Immediate Past President of the Great Neck Lawyers Association, and Immediate Past Chairperson of the Nassau County Bar Association Taxation Committee. Ms. Gruer has practiced law for twenty years and is certified as a mediator by the New York State Supreme Court Commercial Division.
