Attorney McCormick was raised on his families’ farm in western New York. After graduating from high school, he attended Northeastern University where he joined Alpha Kappa Sigma and served as president of the fraternity. Attorney McCormick graduated from Northeastern with a degree in Political Science and continued his studies at Southwestern University School of Law in Los Angeles where he graduated with a Juris Doctorate.
Attorney McCormick returned to Massachusetts, passed the Massachusetts State Bar Exam on his first attempt, and began his law career working for mid-sized law firms, in Boston, for the following twelve years.
In 1998 Attorney McCormick opened his own practice in Boston. After several years he moved his firm to Braintree which is where his firm continues its’ law practice.
Attorney McCormick’s firm is a general law practice so that he can dedicate his work to any and all client needs. He handles all cases from civil litigation, (he has tried over thirty cases in the Massachusetts Superior Courts, District Courts, Housing Courts, Probate and Family Courts), to small businesses, estate planning, and all aspects of real estate including purchasing and sales, landlord/tenant disputes, personal injury matters and almost any other legal assistance that is requested whether personal, family or small business related.
Attorney McCormick believes that communication with his clients is the key to success in any legal matter. He makes himself available for his clients at all times, and does so at a fair and reasonable rate.
After establishing his practice, Attorney McCormick and others created a scholarship at Northeastern University which to date has raised over $100,000.00 to assist students with their college expenses. Attorney McCormick is active in the Northeastern community having served for almost twenty years as President of the Alpha Kappa Sigma Trust. He also serves on the Northeastern National Council and the Presidents’ Council.
Attorney McCormick resides in Norfolk and has served on the Town Capital Committee and its’ Advisory Board.
