Mr. Levey concentrates his practice in the areas of estate planning, tax planning, and tax controversies.
Professional Experience
Mr. Levey began his legal career as a partner in the tax law firm of Rubin and Levey. In 1977 that firm merged to form the firm then known as Harris, Beach, Wilcox, Rubin & Levey. In addition to his law practice, Levey served as an Adjunct Professor of Law at Cornell Law School from 1983 through 1987. From 1989 to the present he has served as Adjunct Professor of Law and member of the faculty at the Syracuse University College of Law, where he teaches tax courses and is a Co-Director of the Low Income Taxpayer Clinic.
Professional Affiliations
Mr. Levey is a member of the Monroe County, New York State, and American Bar Associations, as well as the Estate Planning Council of Rochester.
