Shulman Curtin & Grundner, P.C. has pooled talented attorneys with extensive backgrounds in real estate/transactional law to form one of Syracuse's most reputable and dynamic real estate law firms. The history of Shulman Curtin & Grundner, P.C. provides the fabric for who we are today.
On May 4, 1981, our managing partner, C. Daniel Shulman, left The Pyramid Companies, a nationally recognized retail shopping center developer where he served as General Counsel, to establish the law firm of Van Epps & Shulman. Subsequently, Mr. Van Epps left Van Epps & Shulman to pursue other interests and the law firm of Van Epps & Shulman became known as The Law Office of C. Daniel Shulman.
In February 1985, Mr. Grundner left the Syracuse law firm of Bond Schoeneck & King to also join the firm. Finally, in 1990, Mr. Curtin left his position as Assistant General Counsel for Fays, Inc. to join the Law Office of C. Daniel Shulman. In January 1992, a professional corporation was formed with each of the foregoing persons becoming a partner. Upon graduating from law school and in the fall of 1993, Mr. Etoll joined the firm and become a partner in January 2001. Subsequently, upon graduating from law school and in the fall of 1996, Mr. Danaher joined the firm and became a partner in January 2004.
