| Biography | Stan is a member in the firm's Corporate & Securities Section. His practice focuses on merger, acquisition, and general corporate work for both closely held and public companies. He regularly advises clients on corporate governance and shareholder/partner disputes, as well as venture capital and debt financing. Stan also represents these companies on contract matters, including software and technology licensing, joint ventures, outsourcing, and executive employment arrangements. Several of Stan's clients develop and sell clean technology products, including biofuels, hybrid and electric vehicles, and specialty molecules. Stan's practice also includes representation of both public and private sector clients involved in the development and financing of infrastructure projects, including cogeneration, waste-to-energy, landfill gas, recycling, composting, and wastewater treatment facilities. He has extensive experience in the negotiation of long-term service agreements and in public procurement law issues. Stan is admitted to practice in Massachusetts and is a member of the American, Massachusetts, and Boston Bar Associations. He received his B.A., cum laude, from Harvard College (1975) and his J.D., cum laude, from Georgetown University Law Center (1978).
