Stanley S. Jaspan is a partner with Foley & Lardner LLP. He is a current member and past chair of the Labor & Employment Practice. In 1999, he was appointed managing partner of the firm, responsible for the full range of attorney personnel matters and involved in firm strategic development. Mr. Jaspan counsels and represents employers in employment and labor law matters such as collective bargaining, benefit and health care programs, employment contracts, retirement plans, unemployment compensation and wage and hour laws, and handles employment litigation in state and federal courts, and before various administrative agencies. A frequent speaker before industry and labor groups concerning labor and employment law, Mr. Jaspan has also been an adjunct associate professor at Marquette University Law School. He is admitted to practice in Wisconsin and New York. Mr. Jaspan was awarded his bachelor's degree by Cornell University - School of Industrial and Labor Relations in 1968 and his law degree by Yale University in 1971. He was elected to membership in Phi Kappa Phi, and served as managing editor of the Yale Law Journal in 1970-1971. He was selected by his peers for inclusion in the current edition of The Best Lawyers in America® in the field of labor and employment law and was selected for inclusion in the 2005 - 2008 lists of Wisconsin Super Lawyers® for his employment and labor work.
