Stephanie Connor is an associate in the Washington D.C. office of Gibson, Dunn & Crutcher, where her practice focuses on white-collar criminal defense and related civil litigation. Ms. Connor has represented corporate and individual clients in matters arising under the U.S. Foreign Corrupt Practices Act, the False Claims Act, and U.S. securities regulations. Ms. Connor has significant experience in conducting internal investigations and advising companies on the effectiveness of their internal anti-corruption compliance controls. This includes interviewing witnesses, reviewing reporting mechanisms, and drafting compliance materials such as ethics and anti-corruption policies. Ms. Connor graduated from the Georgetown University Law Center in 2008, where she served as an Executive Editor of the Georgetown Journal of International Law, a Legal Research and Writing Fellow, and an intern with the United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees on the border of Somalia. She practiced at a major international law firm before joining Gibson Dunn. Prior to practicing law, Ms. Connor designed and implemented public health projects in the developing world. She has lived and worked in Africa, Asia, and Europe. Ms. Connor is admitted to practice in Massachusetts and the District of Columbia. |
