Stephen Hale's practice includes commercial and tort litigation. He has represented clients in industries such as telecommunications, heavy and light manufacturing, automotive wholesale and retail, software development, construction, and commercial and residential development. He is admitted to practice before the Utah Supreme Court and all state and federal courts in Utah, and the United States Tenth Circuit Court of Appeals. Mr. Hale received his Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting, magna cum laude, in 1982, and his Masters in Business Administration in 1983. Mr. Hale received a license to practice as a certified public accountant in the State of Utah. While practicing as a C.P.A., he was employed for several years with Ernst & Whinney, an international accounting firm, where he was engaged in providing auditing and management consulting services. Mr. Hale was named one of the top general commercial litigation lawyers in Utah in the 2010 and 2011 editions of Chambers USA - America's Leading Business Lawyers. He was also recognized in the 2007-2012 editions of Best Lawyers in America for commercial litigation and construction law and was named as one of Utah Business magazine's Utah's Legal Elite in the 2004-2005, and 2007-2012 editions.
