    Steve Cordell devotes his practice to public finance and has more than 25 years of legal experience in that field. Mr. Cordell also has extensive experience with the tax aspects of public finance.

    He has served as bond counsel, underwriter's counsel, borrowers counsel or credit/liquidity provider counsel on some of the largest and most sophisticated financings undertaken in North Carolina. These transactions include:

    · General obligation bond financings

    · Installment contract/appropriation financings.

    He has been named one of the "Best Lawyers in America" in public finance and is a member of the National Association of Bond Lawyers.
