| Biography | Stephen P. Katz is the Director of Peckar & Abramson's Corporate Law Practice Group. His expertise includes all aspects of corporate law. Mr. Katz represents both public and privately held companies in all matters of corporate law. He has extensive experience in all aspects of corporate law, including mergers, acquisitions, public offerings, private placements, venture capital, securities regulation, formation and organization of corporations, partnerships and limited liability companies, joint venture agreements, licensing, corporate governance and general commercial agreements. Mr. Katz has represented a vast array of clients, including nationally recognized and regional investment banks, publicly traded companies, venture capital investors, start up and middle stage technology companies, nationally recognized apparel manufacturers, hedge funds, corporate executives and entrepreneurs. Stephen Katz brings practical legal experience to all phases of the life cycle of a business, having worked as an attorney at a major New York law firm and as a founder, Executive Vice President and General Counsel of Imagine Networks, Inc., a technology company focused on telecommunications and financial services. Mr. Katz received his Bachelor of Arts degree in History from the University of Pennsylvania. He received his JD from Fordham University School of Law. Mr. Katz is admitted to practice law in New York and New Jersey. Mr. Katz is a member of the American Bar Association and the New York State Bar Association.
