Stephen X. Munger is a Shareholder in the Atlanta, Georgia office of Jackson Lewis P.C.
Mr. Munger has been engaged exclusively in the practice of labor and employment law on behalf of management his entire career. He has represented management in wage hour collective actions, wrongful discharge and discrimination litigation and trials in the federal and state courts throughout the country. He obtained the first defense verdict in the country in a jury trial under the Americans with Disabilities Act. Mr. Munger has successfully defended numerous FLSA, Title VII and 1981 class actions. He is a member of the firm's national class action practice committee. He has successfully argued numerous appeals before the Third, Fourth, Sixth, Tenth and Eleventh United States Circuit Courts.
Mr. Munger has authored and co-authored several labor and employment law articles, including Plant Closures and Relocations Under the National Labor Relations Act, published in the Georgia State University Law Review No. 1.
Mr. Munger is a member of the American Bar Association, Atlanta Bar Association, State Bar of Georgia and the Michigan State Bar Association. He is admitted to practice before the Third, Fourth, Sixth, Tenth and Eleventh Circuit Courts of Appeal; The United States District Court, Northern and Southern Districts of Georgia, Eastern District of Michigan, Southern District of Mississippi and District of Colorado; and the State Courts of Georgia and Michigan.
Mr. Munger received his Bachelor of Arts from the University of Florida in 1977. He earned his J.D. from Wayne State University Law School in 1982.
