Steven Lenkowsky is counsel in the New York office of Cadwalader. His practice has spanned traditional bank and commercial lending, big-ticket and mid-market equipment and facility financing in the public and private sectors, including domestic and cross-border aircraft and marine financing, structured financial instruments and insurance products international trade regulation and trade sanctions, exotic asset securitization, trade receivables financing and insurance and reinsurance.
Steve is an active participant and resource in the firm's royalty monetization practice, representing and advising buyers, sellers, lenders, arrangers, credit enhancers and other participants on monetizations of patent license royalties, manufacturing and supply agreement payments, food and beverage industry franchise fees, media display revenue and data center space charges.
A magna cum laude graduate of Brandeis University, Steve received his J.D. degree from Boston College Law School where he was Editor-in-Chief of the Boston College Industrial and Commercial Law Review. Steve has been a lecturer with World Trade Institute and an adjunct professor of law at the Webb Institute Graduate School of Ocean Technology. Steve joined the firm as an associate in 1976, was a partner from 1985 to 1995, and has been counsel since 1997.
