The firm was established in 1981 by Mary Ann Stiles, who had previously served as Executive Vice President and General Counsel of Associated Industries of Florida. At the time of formation of the firm, Ms. Stiles was then and still is, recognized as one of the most knowledgeable individuals in the United States in the area of workers' compensation. She has been retained as a consultant in six different states to advise those states' respective legislatures about revisions to the state's workers compensation law. Later she was joined by partners Rayford Taylor, former General Counsel of the Florida Bar, and Robert Grace. The firm has five offices across the State of Florida and an office in Atlanta, Georgia, offering a wide range of legal services in a timely and cost-effective manner. Today, the firm represents clients throughout Florida and the Nation. The firm also represents clients before the Florida Legislature and the numerous regulatory bodies within the state.
