| Biography | Stuart is a member in the firm's Boston office and practices in the Real Estate Section. His practice involves sophisticated commercial real estate transactions, including debt, equity, and lease financing and restructuring, acquisitions and development, and public agency finance and economic development. Stuart has specialized experience in major commercial office and retail leases throughout the country. He is counsel to local, national, and international private and institutional investors and developers, including foreign and tax-exempt organizations. Stuart is admitted to practice in Massachusetts and New York, and is a member of The Association of the Bar of the City of New York, as well as the Massachusetts, New York, and Boston Bar Associations. He received his B.A., magna cum laude, from Columbia University (1974), where he was elected to Phi Beta Kappa, and received his J.D. from Boston University School of Law (1977).
