Biography

Suhuyini Abudulai is an associate in the Financial Services Group. Her practice focuses on corporate finance matters, representing lenders and borrowers in a variety of domestic and multi-jurisdictional financing transactions including secured and unsecured financing, syndicated loans, project finance, equipment leasing, asset-based lending, securitization and structured finance. Her practice includes regulatory matters, advising Canadian and non-Canadian financial institutions on consumer protection matters and the Canadian regulation of financial services, including the operation of credit, debit and payment card programs and other payment products and services, cost of credit disclosure, payment system issues and compliance matters.

Suhuyini has co-authored the Banking and Finance chapters of Halsbury's Laws of Canada and also co-authored the Securitizations and Income Trusts chapter of the Canada-U.S. Commercial Law Guide. She is also co-editor of the ABA's Commercial Finance and Uniform Commercial Code Committee's Commercial Law Newsletter.
