| Biography | Susan Zimmerman joined Goodmans in 1985 and has been a partner since 1991.
Susan began her legal career as a business lawyer and now provides assistance to the firm's lawyers and its clients in all aspects of business law, offering special expertise in insolvency and restructuring, banks and banking and legal opinions. She also plays an active role in training the firm's law students and junior lawyers.
Susan is a member of the Research Lawyers' Lunch Group and the Toronto Opinions Group. She speaks frequently on legal opinions, most recently at a panel discussion on cross-border opinions for the ABA Annual Meeting in Toronto. She also edits, with her partner Jeffrey Shore, the legal opinions chapter of Canadian Forms & Precedents: Banking and Finance (LexisNexis).
