Susan K. Krell is a Shareholder in the Hartford office of Jackson Lewis P.C. Her practice is in the area of employment law and related litigation. Ms. Krell was Chairperson of the Connecticut Bar Association's Labor and Employment Law Section, was Chairperson of the Subcommittee on Liaison with the Connecticut Commission on Human Rights and Opportunities, and was Management Chairperson of the Discrimination Law Subcommittee of the Connecticut Bar Association. She is a Special Master for the Hartford Seat of the Connecticut Federal District Court and has presided over a number of conferences involving discrimination, civil rights, and labor law cases. For many years Ms. Krell has been recognized by her professional colleagues to be included inBest Lawyers in America in the category of Employment and Labor Law. She is a life member of the National Registry of Who's Who published in the year 2000 edition, and is included inWho's Who Legal USA-Management Labour & Employment 2006. She has also been recognized by her professional colleagues as a Connecticut Super Lawyer in 2006-2010, a New England Super Lawyer in 2007-2010, and she has received an AV Martindale Hubbell rating, the highest possible rating from her peers.

Ms. Krell has appeared on five MSNBC programs on sexual harassment and affirmative action. Ms. Krell has extensive experience in defending both federal and state discrimination charges and employment related litigation matters in Connecticut and other states, including arguing employment discrimination cases before the United States Supreme Court and the Connecticut Supreme Court. She represents employers in affirmative action matters, assisting in preparation of affirmative action plans and representing clients in OFCCP compliance reviews throughout the United States. She has conducted numerous training programs for employers on a wide variety of employment related subjects, and advises employers on employment law in many sensitive areas.
