Tarek Maheran is an Associate in the White Plains, New York office of Jackson Lewis P.C. Mr. Maheran represents employers in a variety of litigation matters in federal and state courts and before state and federal administrative agencies. He also counsels management and human resources professionals on compliance with domestic employment laws and other workplace issues.
In addition to his general employment law practice, Mr. Maheran is a member of Jackson Lewis' International Employment Issues practice group. In his role as a member of the International Employment Issues practice group Mr. Maheran represents several domestic and foreign-based multi-national corporations in cross-border employment, labor and immigration matters, including managing expatriate employees, employment contracts, multi-jurisdiction terminations and data privacy issues.
Mr. Maheran received his Bachelor of Science degree in Biology from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and his law degree from the Hofstra University School of Law. While at Hofstra, Mr. Maheran was an associate editor of the Hofstra Labor and Employment Law Journal. He is admitted to practice in the state courts of the State of New York and the Southern District of New York.
