We have represented employers, shipowners, dockowners, contractors, third parties, insurers and underwriters in maritime litigation, arbitration and mediation in actions for personal injury and death, property damage, breach of contract, and collision. Our experience includes defense of Jones Act and general maritime litigation involving a range of actions brought against two boat owners and operators, river boat casinos, offshore oil and drilling companies, inland drilling companies and maritime manufacturers and distributors. In addition, we have represented dockowners and their insurers in large scale property damage claims. Recent representations include
- Defending vessel owners and their insurers in maritime personal injury and death claims.
- Representing manufacturers in maritime product liability claims.
- Representing clients in maritime property damage claims including damage to docking facilities.
- Representing the insurer of a vessel owner against naval architects in claims involving vessel design.
- Defending contractors for claim of injuries and damages occurring offshore.
In addition, we have also handled numerous transactions representing both purchasers and sellers of vessels, as well as a lender, in the financing, sale and leasing of commercial and recreational documented vessels. Transactions include

- Representing owner / seller of fleet of tug boats in sale of vessels.
- Representing seller in owner-financed transactions.
