| Biography | Teresa Martland advises both foreign and domestic clients on the design and implementation of executive compensation plans, including matters such as deferred compensation and parachute payments. Her particular emphasis with her clients is on the design of stock and other equity compensation, including incentive and non-statutory stock options, phantom stock, stock appreciation rights, partnership interests, vesting equity participation and other matters relating to executive compensation and ownership. In addition to her executive compensation work, Teresa counsels clients with regard to pension, profit-sharing, savings, employee stock ownership and other types of qualified benefit plans. She also has prior experience in complex civil litigation, focusing on business and professional liability disputes.
