Teresa Leyva Martin

After graduating from law school she worked as an Assistant District Attorney for the Parish of Orleans. After leaving the District Attorney’s Office she practiced primarily in the defense of employers and insurers in workers’ compensation claims. Teresa has also been a speaker in numerous workers’ compensation seminars since 1986.

Teresa joined the firm in 2002 and became a Director in 2009. Since joining the firm she has continued to concentrate her practice in the area of workers’ compensation. When she has time to herself, she enjoys yoga, walking, bicycle riding and gardening.
