Terrence Finn is the former Managing Partner of Edwards Angell Palmer & Dodge, serving in that position from 1994-2008 and prior was Partner-in-Charge of the firm's Boston office, a position he had held since that office opened in 1982. During his tenure as Managing Partner, the Firm has more than doubled in number of attorneys and tripled its revenue. In this time, each of the Firm's practice areas has grown, and the Firm has taken advantage of opportunities to build a significant insurance and reinsurance and an intellectual property practice, each of which has contributed to its growth. Although the Firm is managed along practice group lines, each of the Firm's offices (including new offices in Fort Lauderdale, Stamford and Wilmington) has participated in its expansion. Terry has been intimately involved in leading this development and growth. Prior to assuming his responsibilities as Managing Partner, Terry had a diverse background in a variety of business transactions. He has experience in all aspects of acquisitions and transactional financings, representing both companies and senior and subordinated lenders and venture capital investors. He also has extensive knowledge and experience in the development and financing of commercial real estate properties. Besides Edwards Wildman Terry plays competitive basketball and referees rugby. Sadly, his golf game has not improved to the point that it is an attraction. Terry is the Director of The Efficacy Institute, this is an education non-profit. He was appointed by the Governor as a Trustee of the Commonwealth of Massachusetts Health Care Security Trust.
