Tom is a member of Husch Blackwell's Financial Services team and focuses mainly on banking and finance matters. He handles various loan transactions and related matters for lenders, investors and borrowers, including multilender syndicated credit facilities, real estate loans, business and asset-based loans, agricultural loans, mezzanine financing, loans involving utilization of tax credits and other incentives, loan workouts and commercial real estate loan foreclosures.
Tom's financial work includes:
•Represented the lead lender in a $110 million syndicated credit facility to an agricultural borrower.
Counseled a St. Louis-based real estate developer in a $125 million real estate conduit loan.
Represented a Missouri-based financial institution in more than $100 million in agricultural loans.
Advised the lead bank in a $36 million multilender real estate loan to a national investment firm.
Tom also counsels clients on a broad range of real estate matters, including acquisitions, sales, development, financing and leasing. In addition, his general corporate experience includes venture capital transactions, mergers and acquisitions, formation of business entities and a variety of business contacts.
