Thomas C. Harney

Tom Harney became an associate with the firm in 1972 and was admitted to partnership in 1979. Mr. Harney practices in the area of commercial litigation. He serves as lead trial counsel and lead appellate counsel in a broad range of cases, with a particular concentration in the areas of real property, estates, fraud, unfair competition and intra-corporate conflict. Mr. Harney is also called upon for briefing, argument and strategy in connection with major trial court motions and appeals. Mr. Harney has extensive experience with commercial litigation in trial and appellate courts and is heavily involved in brief writing and editing and in litigation strategy.

· While in law school, served as Executive Editor of the University of Southern California Law Review, member of Order of the Coif, and Winner - Moot Court Oral Argument

· Served as an officer in the United States Navy from 1966 to 1968, primarily in Vietnam, where he received the Bronze Star Medal with Combat V.
