| Biography | Thomas C. Yebernetsky is a patent attorney in the firm's Litigation practice group.
While in law school, Mr. Yebernetsky worked as a Summer Associate for Oblon Spivak, where he drafted office actions and assisted the litigation team by researching and drafting memoranda. Also while in law school, Mr. Yebernetsky was a technology analyst intern at Johns Hopkins University Technology Transfer, where he conducted prior art searches and recommended IP strategies based on assessments of the prior art, contractual encumbrances, and applicable IP law.
Prior to law school, Mr. Yebernetsky was an Officer in the United States Navy. Having served on board a Virginia-class nuclear submarine, he obtained extensive training and operational experience in all aspects of nuclear powered propulsion, including reactor core design, chemistry, fluid mechanics, power generation and distribution, and instrumentation and control systems.
As an undergraduate, Mr. Yebernetsky was an engineering intern at First Energy Corporation. He was a lead designer for several energy production system upgrades and designed a programmable logic control system to upgrade several of the plant's control systems.
