Tom is a member of the firm's casualty department where his practice includes general liability, premises liability, product liability, retail and automotive liability.
Tom has successfully defended numerous residential and commercial property owners in liability cases concerning slip and falls, dog bites, property disputes, and the like. He has also represented major commercial trucking companies concerning auto-accidents that occurred while in route to their deliveries. Recently, Tom represented one of the largest fast food chains involving a food poisoning allegation raised by a patron.
Prior to joining Marshall Dennehey as an associate in 2012, Tom clerked for the firm during his third year of law school. After graduation, he gained practical legal experience while working for a local law firm handling insurance coverage matters and bad faith claims.
Tom graduated cum laude from Widener University School of Law in 2011. There, he served as the senior editor for the Delaware Journal of Corporate Law. During his third year of law school, Tom was a judicial extern for the Honorable Chief Justice Steele of the Delaware Supreme Court where he conducted legal research, prepared bench memoranda and observed oral arguments on a variety of criminal and civil cases.
A graduate of the University of Delaware with bachelor's degree in Hotel, Restaurant, and Institutional Management, Tom worked as a Business Transient Sales Manager for Starwood Hotels and Resorts before enrolling in law school.
Tom is admitted to practice in Pennsylvania, New Jersey and Maryland.
