Thomas P. Dillon is the Co-Chairman of the litigation practice group and a member of the firm's management committee.
Tom has extensive experience in representing individuals and business clients in commercial disputes involving business torts, unfair competition torts, covenants not to compete, theft of trade secrets, insurance coverage issues, breach of contract claims, real property disputes, employment claims and tax disputes. He has substantial experience in obtaining injunctive relief to prevent unfair competition and the unauthorized disclosure of trade secrets. He also assists small and medium sized businesses in identifying and solving a host of legal issues. Tom's practice includes acting as outside general counsel for small and medium sized businesses.
Tom and and his partner Scott Aubry created Shumaker's Business Backstop program, which offers a menu of stream-lined and effective solutions to help protect businesses from the uncertainties they face in unstable economic times.
