Thomas S. Giotto

Thomas S. Giotto concentrates his entire practice on representing management in many aspects of labor, employment and employment-related litigation. He counsels clients in a wide range of industries and business sectors.

Thomas devotes much of his practice to traditional labor law, which includes representing employers during union organizing campaigns, collective bargaining and grievance arbitrations. He also represents employers in litigation involving race, sex, sexual harassment, age and disability discrimination, and against claims alleging violations of the Fair Labor Standards Act, Family and Medical Leave Act, COBRA and wrongful discharge and related common law claims.

While in law school, Thomas worked for U.S. Steel Corp. in labor relations. He is a member of the firm's Board of Directors.

He has spoken on many occasions to lawyers and employer groups on a range of employment law topics. Thomas was named one of the top labor law attorneys in the 2006, 2007 and 2008 editions of the Client's Guide of Chambers USA: America's Leading Lawyers for Business. Since 2006, he has been consistently selected to the Pennsylvania Super Lawyers® list. Also since 2006, he has been selected by his peers for inclusion in The Best Lawyers in America.
