Established in 1887, Thompson & Knight today is a dynamic firm of approximately 420 attorneys. In the United States we have four offices in Texas and one in New York, and our international offices are located in Brazil, Europe, Mexico, and North Africa.

Thompson & Knight has counseled U.S., Mexican, and international clients currently doing business, or considering doing business, in Mexico and elsewhere in Latin America for 25 years. Our Mexico City office, opened in 2005, greatly supports this effort. We provide U.S. and Mexican legal counsel in diverse commercial transactions and matters. The Mexico City office primarily focuses on international joint ventures, foreign investments, mergers and acquisitions, project finance and infrastructure, LNG, pipelines, oil and gas, licensing agreements, and telecommunications practices for some of the largest domestic and transnational companies in Mexico. These capabilities give us the flexibility to provide services not only to large, sophisticated multinational corporations, but also to small and medium-sized companies doing business in Central and South America.
