About this office:

Established in 1887, Thompson & Knight today is a dynamic firm of approximately 420 attorneys. In the United States we have four offices in Texas and one in New York, and our international offices are located in Brazil, Europe, Mexico, and North Africa.

The Algiers associated office of Thompson & Knight supports clients wishing to do business in Europe, Africa, and the Middle East as well as clients from those regions wishing to do business with U.S. companies. Attorneys who will work with clients via the Algiers office have experience representing public and private companies and host governments in oil and gas exploration and development, international investment, acquisitions and divestments, trades and mergers, privatization, strategic contract design and negotiation, tax planning and dispute resolution.

Thompson & Knight is a member of TRACE International, Inc. (TRACE) and the representative law firm in Algeria. TRACE is a non-profit membership association that pools resources to provide practical and cost-effective anti-bribery compliance solutions for multinational companies and their commercial intermediaries. TRACE partner law firms support TRACE on a pro bono basis by providing general information on country laws, regulations, and customs that companies and their intermediaries should consider in their efforts to comply with local and home country anti-bribery laws. Partner firms also participate in local TRACE anti-bribery workshops. To learn more about TRACE, please visit www.TRACEinternational.org.
