Throughout Thompson & Knight's history, our resilience and our ability and willingness to adapt have fueled our success. The Firm's corporate lawyers were recently selected as one of the top corporate law firms in Dallas by Corporate Board Member. Additionally, eleven of our lawyers were recently selected as "Best Lawyers in Dallas" by D Magazine. In fact, three of the seven tax lawyers listed in the magazine are Thompson & Knight lawyers.
Our attorneys were among the first to practice law in Dallas' Old Red Courthouse and, as Dallas became an international center of commerce, finance, energy and technology, our practice grew far beyond the city limits. In Dallas, our traditional focus on litigation remains strong, with well over a quarter of our attorneys engaged in trial and appellate work. Clients also benefit from our strength in energy, finance, real estate and banking, corporate and securities, environmental, tax, labor and employment and intellectual property.
