Timothy Yang is an associate in the Financial Services Group, where he focuses on structured products and other transactional work. Timothy advises banks, broker-dealers, hedge funds and asset managers on the structuring and trading of derivatives and complex structured financial products, including the issuances of equity-, index-, currency- and commodity-linked notes and warrants.
Timothy also has experience advising U.S. and non-U.S. major financial institutions, investment advisers, mutual funds, and hedge funds in negotiating documentation such as futures agreements, addendums and execution agreements to facilitate clearing of futures and OTC cleared derivatives. Prior to joining Cadwalader, Timothy represented corporate borrowers, financial institutions, and equity sponsors in domestic and international lending transactions.
Timothy received his J.D. from Harvard Law School and his B.A. from Dartmouth College. He is admitted to practice in the State of New York.
