Biography

Dr. Tobias Caspary is an antitrust and competition law associate. He divides his time between Fried Frank's London and Frankfurt offices.

Dr. Caspary's practice focuses on European and German competition law. He advises and represents clients before the European Commission and the German Federal Cartel Office. Prior to joining the Firm, Dr. Caspary practiced competition law for several years at another major international law firm in Brussels. He has also obtained a doctorate in law in the area of antitrust (Sales Below Cost under German Competition Law, with a Comparative Analysis of the EC and US Antitrust Laws) and has published various articles on competition matters. He is also a member of the Studienvereinigung Kartellrecht (association of German, Austrian and Swiss competition lawyers) and the Competition Section of the UK Law Society.

Dr. Caspary also advises on economic sanctions and other trade regulatory matters.
