| Biography | Trevor Lawson is a partner in our Labour & Employment Group in Toronto. He regularly advises federally and provincially regulated employers concerning all aspects of labour and employment law, including collective bargaining and collective agreement administration, labour arbitration, mergers and acquisitions, outsourcing, employment agreements, compensation plans and restrictive covenants, employment policies, employment standards, discrimination and harassment, wrongful dismissal and privacy. Mr. Lawson represents employers in all aspects of labour and employment law litigation, and has appeared in proceedings before the Ontario Superior Court of Justice, Court of Appeal for Ontario, Ontario Labour Relations Board, human rights tribunals, boards of arbitration, coroner's inquests and other administrative tribunals. Mr. Lawson's clients carry on business in a variety of sectors, including manufacturing, energy, technology, hospitality, property management, transportation, pharmaceuticals, banking and finance. Mr. Lawson regularly makes presentations to management groups on a wide range of employment-related subjects. Mr. Lawson received his BA (Hons.) in Political Science from McMaster University in 1995, and his LLB from Dalhousie University in 1998. He was called to the Ontario bar in 2000. |
