Trevor Wilson practices primarily in the area of complex commercial litigation representing large financial institutions, insurance companies and corporations in fraud actions, contract disputes, internal investigations, SEC investigations, Department of Justice antitrust investigations and securities matters. Trevor's experience includes managing large scale electronic discovery and drafting various court motions and briefs.
Additionally, Trevor contributes to the firm's pro bono program, most recently on a criminal matter in association with the New York State Office of the Appellate Defender, for whom he argued an appeal before the Supreme Court of New York, Appellate Division, First Department. Trevor's pro bono experience includes drafting and filing briefs and motions as well as conducting oral argument before both trial and appellate courts.
Trevor is the author of two law review articles: Operation Contractor Shield: Extending the Government Contractor Defense in Recognition of Modern Warfare Realities, 83 Tul. L. Rev. 255 (2008); and Innocent Owners and Actual Innocence: Raising Innocence as a Constitutional Defense to Government Punishment, 19 S. Cal. Rev. L. & Soc. Just. 377 (2011).
Trevor received his J.D. from Tulane University Law School in 2009, magna cum laude, was Managing Editor of the Tulane Law Review, and Assistant Editor of the American Journal of Comparative Law. He received his undergraduate degree from Fordham University at Lincoln Center in 2003, where he was the Class of 2003 commencement speaker.
Trevor is admitted to practice before the courts of New York State, the U.S. Supreme Court, the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Second Circuit, the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of New York and the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of New York.
