Tyler A. Brown is a Shareholder in the San Francisco, California office of Jackson Lewis P.C. and is a member of the firm's Board of Directors.
Mr. Brown counsels management on a wide variety of labor and employment matters, with an emphasis on disability and leave management. Where litigation cannot be avoided, he defends employers before state and federal administrative agencies and courts. Mr. Brown is a frequent speaker to employer groups on such topics as handling employment litigation efficiently, avoiding discrimination and harassment complaints and coordinating leaves under the Americans with Disabilities Act and Family and Medical Leave Act.
Mr. Brown has been practicing employment law with Jackson Lewis since 1994 and, overall, since 1987. He has worked in both the San Francisco office and the Washington, D.C. Region office. He is admitted before the bars of California, Virginia, the District of Columbia, and Maryland.
He earned a J.D. cum laude from Hastings College of the Law in 1985 and a B.A. in Government from the University of Notre Dame in 1982.
