Vincent Li is a English-Chinese bilingual litigator experienced in commercial litigation, arbitration, and internal corporate investigations.
Vincent has represented dozens of American, Chinese, and Latin American companies in litigation and arbitration matters in the U.S. and Asia involving disputes related to distributorships, private equity investments, joint ventures, sale of goods, construction, trademark infringement, trade secret misappropriation, civil RICO violations, and the U.S. Foreign Sovereign Immunities Act. Vincent's recent representations include a successful multi-million dollar civil judgment for a Chinese commercial airline against a Florida-based aviation academy in a federal district court in Florida; a multi-million dollar arbitral award for a U.S. environmental equipment supplier against three domestic Chinese environmental technology companies in an ICC arbitration; and numerous favorable settlements for clients following commencement of litigation or arbitration. In addition, Vincent's familiarity with PRC law and the Chinese court system enables him to assist multinational clients in supervising local counsel in domestic Chinese litigation work from a quality control and compliance perspective.
Vincent also counsels multinational companies in internal investigations involving the FCPA, the U.S. securities laws, and employee self-dealing. He has conducted internal investigations for corporate clients in the pharmaceutical, medical device, automotive, retail, construction material, insurance, electronics, machinery, and oil and gas industries.
