Walch & Schurti was founded by its two current senior partners in 1990. After establishment the firm quickly developed to become and remains today one of the leading firms in Liechtenstein, a "boutique" practice active at the highest international commercial levels and catering to multi-national enterprises and high net worth individuals. Its international activity is reflected in its partners and associates of five nationalities trained in nine and admitted in five different jurisdictions (including the US). Its litigation practice is amongst the busiest in Liechtenstein dealing with cases impinging on all its areas of practice. The practice offers services, forensic and advisory, in all aspects of Liechtenstein corporate, commercial and financial law including trusts and estate and wealth planning, banking and insurance law, asset protection, insolvency law, white-collar crime issues and EU/EEA law. It is also involved extensively in the formation and administration of trusts, companies, foundations and other domestic and foreign entities. The firm is the national representative of the State Capital Group, the Association of European Lawyers (AEL) as well as the World Services Group (WSG).
