Warren W. Ayres focuses his practice on advising individuals, businesses and other organizations regarding federal, state, and local taxation. Mr. Ayres leads of Obermayer's Tax Practice Group. The matters on which he provides advice and planning include the choice, formation and financing of new corporations, partnerships, LLCs, and other entities, current and deferred compensation, employee benefits, tax-exempt financing, tax credits, tax-exempt organizations, inbound and outbound investments, joint ventures, real estate development, acquisitions, sales, mergers, liquidations and tax controversies. In the area of public finance, he oversees the tax analysis necessary for each public tax exempt bond issue.

Mr. Ayres is a partner and member of Obermayer's Business & Finance Department where he has practiced law for more than 30 years.

In addition to his work at Obermayer, Mr. Ayres is an amateur singer and pianist, and serves on the board of directors of Piffaro, The Renaissance Band.
