| Biography | Professional Summary Wendy Tucker's practice focuses on employment counseling and litigation for all employers, large and small, with an emphasis on public agencies, charter school and health care entities. She provides a broad range of nuts and bolts counseling services, including assisting in the hiring process, training, reviewing employee handbooks, reviewing policies, assisting with employee discipline, conducting investigations and participating in the termination process. Additionally, Ms. Tucker is experienced in defending all types of employment actions, including wage and hour class actions and claims of discrimination, harassment, retaliation and wrongful termination, and ADA access cases. Ms. Tucker's broad background in all types of litigation enables her to offer her clients a unique perspective to protect all aspects of their businesses. Ms. Tucker's practice encompasses counseling and all phases of litigation before state and federal courts, including discovery, mediation, arbitration, trial, writs, and appeals. She has also represented clients before various administrative agencies including the Department of Fair Employment and Housing, the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission, the Public Employment Relations Board, the Department of Labor Standards Enforcement, and the California State Teachers' Retirement System. Education, Distinctions & Community Involvement Ms. Tucker earned her B.A. in political science and French in 1988 from the University of Montana and her J.D. in 1994 from the University of San Diego School of Law. She was admitted to the California Bar in 1994 and is admitted to practice before all federal courts in the State of California. She is a member of the State Bar of California and the San Diego County Bar Association. Ms. Tucker is an AV rated attorney by Martindale-Hubbell.
