Practice/Industry Group Overview
Our team of environmental lawyers has substantial expertise in regulatory permitting, regulatory compliance and policy matters involved in development and redevelopment projects.
We practice before many state and federal governmental agencies, including the New Jersey and Pennsylvania Departments of Environmental Protection, the New York Department of Environmental Conservation and the United States Environmental Protection Agency. Our environmental lawyers are skilled at handling large, complex projects and transactions that entail many legal, political and economic obstacles. We are adept at strategic counseling, coordination of permitting and enhancement of business opportunities through effective relationships with the regulating agencies for projects of all sizes. Our comprehensive approach to environmental law allows us to assist with due diligence and environmental impact studies, citing decisions, land use issues and regulatory compliance. We handle Brownfield redevelopment, redeveloper agreements and abatements, developer agreements, energy and infrastructure projects, climate change and sustainability matters, air compliance, site remediation, ISRA compliance, cost recovery and environmental litigation, solid waste facility permitting, CAFRA and Coastal Zone Management Act permitting, environmental enforcement, riparian permits, grants, leases and licenses and administrative proceedings at all levels of government.
