Bill practices in the Litigation Section of the firm, with an emphasis on employment law, civil rights defense, municipal law, federal and state constitutional law, and appellate practice. In addition, Bill has considerable experience representing clients before administrative agencies. Outside the area of litigation, Bill has developed expertise in federal and state campaign law. He is a member of the American Bar Association, the Alabama State Bar, the Birmingham Bar Association, and is admitted to practice before the United States Supreme Court and the United States Court of Appeals for the Eleventh Circuit. Bill received his B.A., summa cum laude, from Birmingham-Southern College, where he was a member of Phi Beta Kappa and Omicron Delta Kappa.
