William Rothschild draws on more than 20 years of experience to guide his U.S. and foreign clients in a wide variety of commercial real estate transactions, including acquisitions, sales, leasing and project financing. William's clients include lenders, servicers, institutional investors, developers and tenants.
William's finance work focuses on project financing, including financing of data centers, commercial mortgage-backed securities (CMBS) servicing matters and real estate mortgage investment conduit (REMIC) issues, and he also guides clients in complex transactions, including mezzanine financing, post-closing modifications of securitized loans, defeasances, restructuring of loans, foreclosures and workouts. He speaks regularly on a wide range of issues affecting real estate finance and securitization.
Sutherland represents the lender and master servicer in connection with the restructuring and assumption of $80 million in loans secured by properties located in Los Angeles, California.
Sutherland represents the seller in connection with the sale of a portfolio of over 150 nonperforming commercial mortgage loans.
Represented Axiall in a joint venture with Lotte Chemical for the development, construction and operation of an ethane center in Louisiana.
