William H. "Bill" Hickman is a partner with Hickman Law Group. Bill attended the United States Air Force Academy, where he received a degree in business management. In the Air Force, he served as a captain and government contracting officer. He received an M.B.A. from Auburn University and later attended the University of Oklahoma College of Law, where he graduated No. 1 in his class, was on the Dean's Honor Roll, and was a member of the Phi Delta Phi Legal Fraternity.

Bill practices and consults in the areas of business law, education law, gaming law, oil and gas law, eminent domain and condemnation law, outdoor advertising and media law, zoning and land use law, commercial and civil litigation, government contracting, and real estate law. He is admitted to practice before all Oklahoma State Courts, the United States District Courts for the Western, Eastern, and Northern Districts of Oklahoma, and the United States Court of Federal Claims. Bill has also been admitted to many courts in other states.

Bill appears before many municipal bodies and administrative agencies, including the City Council, Planning Commission and Board of Adjustment for the cities of Oklahoma City, Tulsa, and Norman.

Bill is also a certified and trained mediator. He has participated in numerous mediations to successfully resolve disputes.

Bill has presented seminars and lectured on the topics of eminent domain law, land use and zoning law, outdoor advertising law and government contract issues. He has also appeared before the Oklahoma State House of Representatives concerning property owner rights in condemnation lawsuits.

Prior to forming Hickman Law Group, Bill was managing partner for the firm of Moricoli, Matula, Schovanec & Hickman. He is a member of the Oklahoma Bar Association, the Oklahoma County Bar Association, the American Bar Association, Cherokee Nation, Outdoor Advertising Association of America, Rotary International, Boy Scouts of America, and the National Contract Management Association.
