| Biography | Mr. Kelly represents privately and publicly held corporate clients in complex corporate and financial transactions with a special concentration in issues relating to motor vehicle franchises. In addition to a continuing representation of a number of motor vehicle dealers in their day-to-day matters, he has represented dealers in disputes with their franchisors, in the acquisitions and dispositions of their businesses, in the acquisition, financing and development of their facilities, in the planning and implementation of transfers of business interests from one generation to another and as special counsel. Also, Mr. Kelly is the author of the Illinois Motor Vehicle Franchise Act. Prior to joining our firm, he practiced at Rosenthal & Schanfield in Chicago. Mr. Kelly received his Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting from Regis University in Denver, Colorado, in 1962 and his J.D. degree from the DePaul University College of Law in 1966. He is admitted to practice in the U.S. District Court for the Northern District and Central District of Illinois, the Seventh Circuit Court of Appeals and the Illinois Supreme Court. He is a member of the Chicago and Illinois State Bar Associations. . |
