William J. Kohler is a partner in the firm's Defense Litigation practice group and has been with Cooper Levenson since 1987. His areas of concentration include defense of motor vehicle accident cases, premises liability cases, liquor liability actions and product liability claims, however, he also represents amusement park operators in defense of claims involving amusement rides, and all insurance coverage disputes and litigation are referred to Bill, due to his expertise in this area. An active member of his local community, Bill serves as the Vice President of the Seashore Gardens Living Center Board of Directors, a non-profit residence for the aged. His community involvement has also included the Greater Atlantic City Jaycees and serving as co-editor of The Docket, the official publication of the Atlantic County Bar Association. A graduate of Rutgers University (B.S. 1978) and Dickinson School of Law (J.D. 1986), he was admitted to the bar in New Jersey, Pennsylvania and the United States District Court of New Jersey in 1986.
