Will Liu's practice focuses on transactional and advisory matters related to derivatives. He represents both buy and sell-side institutions in connection with the development, structuring, negotiation and documentation of a wide variety of financial products. These products include total return swaps, swap intermediations, interest rate swaps, commodity swaps, currency swaps, deal-contingent swaps, and other funded and unfunded products. Will has broad experience in representing leading swap dealers in connection with the negotiation and documentation of derivatives transactions with hedge funds, high-yield borrowers, emerging market counterparties, structured entities, and municipal entities.
Will received his J.D. from University of Pennsylvania Law School and his B.S. from University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign. He is admitted to practice in the State of New York.
